Return & Refund Policy
At Catholic Art House, we want every customer to feel confident when shopping with us. Because many of our products are handmade and some are personalized, please read our return and refund policy carefully before placing your order.
1. Return Window
We accept returns within 14 days from the date of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, the item must meet all of the following conditions:
- It must be unused and in its original condition
- It must be returned in its original packaging
- It must be accompanied by proof of purchase
2. Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Personalized or custom-made items
- Used or worn religious items
- Gift cards
- Final sale or clearance items
3. How to Start a Return
To start a return, please contact us at catholicarthouse@gmail.com and include your order number.
Returns sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
4. Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, including any applicable taxes, customs duties, or import fees related to the return.
If the item is confirmed to be damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error, we will be responsible for the return shipping costs and any related fees.
5. Return Shipment Recommendation
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service when returning an item.
We are not responsible for return packages that are lost in transit.
6. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved or rejected.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Please note that your bank or payment provider may require additional time to process and post the refund.
7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at catholicarthouse@gmail.com.
Your claim must include:
- Clear photos
- A clear video
- Your order number
- A brief explanation of the issue
We will review the case promptly and, if approved, offer an appropriate solution such as a replacement or refund.
8. Inspection Upon Delivery
Because our products are handmade, we ask customers to inspect their order carefully immediately after delivery.
When opening the package, please record a full unboxing video as valid evidence in case of any issue.
For claims involving:
- damaged items
- missing parts
- incomplete orders
- items that do not match the description
you must provide clear photos and video evidence.
For the strongest claim support, inspection evidence should be recorded within 12 hours of delivery.
9. Order Changes and Cancellations
Orders may only be changed or canceled within 12 hours of purchase.
After that time, the order may already be in processing and can no longer be modified or canceled, especially for personalized orders.
10. Important Notice Regarding Chargebacks
We are committed to resolving all issues fairly and promptly.
If you experience any problem with your order, please contact us first at catholicarthouse@gmail.com before opening a payment dispute or chargeback.
Opening a chargeback without contacting us first may delay the resolution process, as we actively provide tracking confirmation, proof of delivery, and communication records to payment providers when needed.
